I have been a school counselor since 1992, most recently at Thoreau Demonstration Academy. My undergraduate degree is in educational psychology and my masters in guidance education and are both from Mississippi State University. I am delighted to now be a part of the Edison Eagle community.
Counselor - 6th & 7th, (A-M last names)
I have been at Edison since 2014 in the position of Middle School Attendance Clerk. I have my BS degree from Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) and am currently attending Southeastern Oklahoma State University working on my master’s degree in school counseling.
Counselor - (M-R last names)
I attended Southern Methodist University for undergrad, where I received a BA in psychology, cultural anthropology and English. Shortly after, I earned my Master's in Psychology. I later attended Houston Baptist University where I received a Master's in school counseling. I have been a school counselor for over 20 years.

I have a BA in Spanish (started @ ORU/finished @ OSU), an MS in Applied Behavioral Studies (Special Ed. emphasis), and a doctorate in Educational Administration—the last two at OSU.
I have served as an Edison Middle School counselor since 2011 and love interacting with and encouraging students to succeed academically, aesthetically, and athletically—(to go for the A’s!!!)

I have worked at Edison for 9 years, the last 3 years in the counseling office. I received my bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University, and I am currently working on my master’s degree in School Counseling from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. I love our Edison family and look forward to working with students and parents alike. Go Pokes!

I have been working in education for the past 30 years. I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Oklahoma State. Go Pokes! I graduate from Edison High School many years ago! It is a great pleasure to be on staff at Thomas Edison High School!
Upon completion of the program's requirements, you will earn:
