C.J. Davison has been selected as the 2022-2023 Edison Preparatory Middle School Teacher of the Year!
"Teaching has been a rewarding profession," he said. "I love seeing young people change the trajectory of their lives."
C.J. has worked for Tulsa Public Schools for 15 years. He currently teaches 8th grade U.S. history.
One of his nominators said: "Mr. Davison is HANDS DOWN one of the best teachers I've had the privilege of meeting. He is kind, compassionate and engaging with his students. He genuinely cares about them. He doesn't rely solely on textbooks to teach his class; he includes real world facts and conversations, and you can tell he has a real passion for teaching. He walks around the classroom and draws the students in, gives them a relaxing environment to work in and makes learning FUN."
