The Oklahoma Educational Memorial Trust Foundation (OEMTF) held its annual scholarship reception and presented awards to 54 graduating seniors from 10 Tulsa Public Schools high schools. Each student received $2,500, renewable each year for four years (for a total award of $10,000).
Including new scholarships and renewed awards, OEMTF is on track to award a total of $135,000 to Tulsa Public Schools graduates. Since its founding, the scholarship foundation has given $3.5 million to support the success of Tulsa Public Schools alumni.
Approximately 150 attendees were present, including students, parents, community members, and representatives from the Oklahoma Educational Memorial Trust Foundation.
