Dear Edison Families,
 
For those of you returning for another year at Edison, welcome back. For those who are joining the Edison community for the first time, we are thoroughly thrilled that you are a part of our family. Edison is a wonderful
school with engaged parents. Edison excels in academics, music, art, and sports. There are tremendous choices of extracurricular activities or sports. Our daughters found various school activities to become involved. These experiences enhanced their school years. Plus, as an added bonus, we, the parents, met other Edison families who then became our friends. Encourage your child to become involved.
 
Besides expecting our daughters to become involved, I expected myself to become involved also. Research shows that parents who are involved have children who are more successful. Come be involved. There are many options just as there are for your child. PTSA membership is an excellent start. Our PTSA board meetings are in the Media Center on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. Come hear what is going on at your child’s school. Our principal shares the latest news concerning Edison at these meetings.
 
Come be a partner in your child’s education.
