Scavenger huntscavenger hunt

Book Club met after school on Tuesday January 29th. We had a good time discussing Amber House and Unwholly. Who were our favorite characters? Did we expect the ending? How would we rewrite it? Then we had a really fun scavenger hunt. That was a first, but it won't be the last!

Book Club met after school on Tuesday November 27th. We had about 17 people present. We discussed Article 5 by Kristen Simmons. Do you think the Bill of Rights could ever be revoked in America? What could cause such a thing? Would the people stand for it? What happens when the lines between church and state are blurred?

Sequoyah imageOur first Sequoyah Breakfast was on October 30th. We had 17 students participate. Some of the Sequoyah books that were read and recommended were The Dead Boys, Matched, Hunger Games, Saving Sky and Sources of Light. Join us for our next Sequoyah Breakfast on December 18th, by reading a Sequoyah book of your choice and telling Mrs. Leach about it.

To find a Sequoyah book, look at the link on the Edison library tab
