Dear Edison Community, Welcome Back to School!  I am very excited for the 2010-2011 school year and look forward to working with you to ensure the continued success of Edison.  I encourage all parents to become involved with the PTSA as a way of networking, volunteering, and becoming an active participant in your student’s educational experience.  As the school year starts we will be experiencing challenges with the traffic flow due to construction.  Parents are encouraged to arrange a pick-up location with their students prior to the first day of school. Please plan ahead as the loop road will be intermittently inaccessible during the construction.   There is always an adult monitoring students at the crosswalk light on 41st street after school.   Parents will be required to accompany their student to schedule pick-up again this year. Please see the Principal's "Post-It's" page for dates and information regarding the schedule pick-up process.            To stay current, please read my Principal's "Post-Its" for additional Edison and TPS updates.                                                  Stacey Vernon
